It is difficult to admit you have a problem and harder still once admitted to effectively deal with it. What makes it so difficult at times is being surrounded by people who put on masks that suggest everything is well with them and any issue they have is external and so they carry on with their self-delusion. That’s why it is a brave step to admit that you have a problem and one that is good for beginning the process of working towards that conscience free of guilt. Don’t follow the crowd confession really is good for the soul.
You can't whitewash your sins and get by with it; you find mercy by admitting and leaving them. (Proverbs 28:13)
